Kristie is an Assistant Professor in the Ivy College of Business (Department of Management & Entrepreneurship) at Iowa State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Arkansas in 2023 as the Frank & Donna Oldham Graduate Fellow.

Her research is rooted in the principle that scholarship should be theoretically and practically meaningful to best serve employees, organizations, and society.

At a broad level, Kristie’s research centers on promoting more equitable workplaces. Her main research stream asks questions about diversity at work and examines how inequality is maintained or disrupted, with a focus on social class in and around organizations. She has a related research stream centered on behavioral ethics. Kristie uses various methods to study these topics, including experimental techniques, network analysis, field studies, and qualitative interviews.
